Donations keep A Single Light running and are greatly appreciated. All contributions are tax-deductible, and can be made in several ways by both individuals and groups:
• Collect Cans – Set up an aluminum can drive or just collect cans, and, once completed, donate the cans to A Single Light (call to arrange a pick-up time), At A Single Light, the cans will be taken to a recycling center. The money received from recycling the cans will be used to support A Single Light’s website and developing the Cancer Resource Database.
Suggested for: large and small groups, individuals, schools, neighborhoods, apartment complexes, businesses and families
Items needed / suggested: 40 gallon trash bags, flyers to hand out about the can drive, and individuals willing to support A Single Light
• Car Wash - Hold a car wash in support for A Single Light’s Cancer Resource Database and website. Please let A Single Light know when you plan on having the car wash so that volunteers from A Single Light can help out, too.
Suggested for: large and small groups, individuals, schools, neighborhoods, apartment complexes, businesses, families and community service projects
Items needed / suggested: buckets, access to water, sponges, soap, signs to attract cars, and 5-30 people depending on the size of the car wash
• Donations Box – Call A Single Light to receive a Donation Box to collect lose change. Once the box is full, contact A Single Light and someone will come and pick it up. All money collected via the donation boxes will support A Single Light’s website and developing the cancer resource database.
Suggested for: Small to large business, families, school classes, and individuals

• Direct Donations – Direct donations to A Single Light can be made via cash or check. Please make checks payable to A Single Light. Please send all donations to A Single Light P.O. Box 720872 San Jose, CA 95172-0872. Please include your address with all donations so A Single Light can send you a receipt. All direct donations will support A Single Lights website and developing the cancer resource database.
Suggested for: Individuals and business wishing to support the efforts of A Single Light without holding a fundraising event
