A Single Light keeps shining bright!
Hello there!

Our annual summer potluck picnic is approaching. Everyone is invited to the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden on Sunday, August 13. The picnic will be held from 2-5 pm. Hope to see you all there! Our partners at Quest EM have helped us to spread the news out about the event, and we would like to thank them for all their kind support.

In other news, an interview with our president, Nathaniel Montgomery, has been aired on Comcast Local Edition. Now more people will know about us, and we think that this is simply great. We will put up the video on the website soon!

Our volunteer base keeps growing: we have signed on a new writer/journalist Jeyling Chou. She will help us with writing articles for Quest EM.

Mark Peterson and Emily Myer have signed on Jacob’s Heart and Latinas Contra Cancer into our Hands-on program. We hope our partnership will be rewarding for many people.

Besides, ASL will be supporting the American Cancer Society’s Campbell Relay for Life.

Tomorrow A Single Light will hold a board meeting to discuss our progress and plans for future development.
