Hello!
I came across a website by a nonprofit called
A Single Light, and I thought that you or the people you know would be interested in it.
A Single Light is a health-based nonprofit making an online cancer resource database, so cancer patients can easily search for help and resources. It is intended to help bridge the gap between the medically underserved and the resources open to patients. I thought that you would like to know about
A Single Light and their database because they might have something you may need help with.
Currently, the database has more than 40 categories to search through such as: transportation help, cancer information, or support groups either online or in person. The database is designed to help patients during diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment times.
To search the database, go to their website at
http://www.asinglelight.org and click on “search database.” A listing of organizations offering help will then be displayed with the contact information, a description of services, and the steps necessary to gain access to the organizations’ services.
I hope this helps!
If you have any questions about A Single Light or their Cancer Resource Database, feel free to contact them at info@asinglelight.org or call (408) 772-7933.
Thank you for your time!
